Why it Matters?
Exceptions are the most consequential quality control step in processing and the one most often left incomplete. Files on the exception list were never examined, never searched, and never reviewed, so a party representing that its production is complete while carrying an unworked exception list is making a representation it cannot support. Requesting the exception report from an opposing party is a straightforward and underused challenge.
