Production
Slip sheets carry the production number, any confidentiality designation, and a notation such as document produced natively, withheld for privilege, or technical issue. They preserve the numbering sequence in image productions.
They are referenced in the load file to the corresponding native file where applicable.

Why it Matters?
Slip sheets are how native production and image production coexist in a single Bates sequence, which is the standard arrangement. They also document withheld and unprocessable material within the production itself, which is more transparent than silent omission. A production with gaps in the numbering sequence and no slip sheets raises questions the producing party will have to answer.
